About Jack

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and LGBTQ+ health educator and consultant (He/Him). This means my work is two fold; I provide both clinical services and education services. But, you can read all those details elsewhere on my page.

Education

  • B.S. University of Central Florida (UCF)

  • Psy.D. Florida Tech

  • Pre-doctoral APA accredited internship, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL

  • Post-doctoral fellowship in medical psychology, Orlando VA

As I was completing my education I began to notice there was a significant gap in the education healthcare organizations and business had surrounding the LGBTQ+ community. As a queer transgender person myself I know how frustrating it can be both to find inclusive affirming care, but also how little education providers were being given on the community and appropriate care as a whole.

I set out to change this and began offering a wide variety of trainings, seminars, and didactics. I really love the work I do and it’s inspiring to see allyship expand and grow for the LGBTQ+ community. I want to help spaces and places understand LGBTQ+ folx deserve access to care for them, not just tolerating them.

Personal Life

In my free time I’m an avid animal lover. I have a three-footed cat named Spaghettio and a bunny name Moose. I find moving my body to be healing and incorporate a variety of activities (cycling, yoga, strength, HIIT) into my daily life. I’m a Disney nerd and have lived in Florida for over 30 years. I am also an advocate for the arts and love theater. I watch Parks and Recreation as my comfort show and love a good true crime documentary. I also love to travel and experience new places.
